Switzerland is an economically sound country offering beautiful scenery, friendly population and a very high standard of living. When you think about Switzerland it's a bit like looking at the top of an old chocolate box with scenes of mountains and chalets and flowers growing wildly. Although it is that, there is also another side to Switzerland - vibrant cities housing international company headquarters, a world famous banking system, theatre and much more to discover in Switzerland.
Transport links are good too. Most major Swiss resorts are within a 90-minute drive of Geneva, a favourite destination for budget and mainstream airlines from almost every major British airport.

Climate in Switzerland

The climate is moderate with no excessive heat, cold or humidity. From July to August the daytime temperature range is 18 to 28 °C (65° - 82° F) and from January to February the range is -2 to 7 °C (28° - 45° F). In spring and autumn, the daytime temperature range is 8 to 15 °C (46° - 59° F). Depending on the altitude the temperature range may vary. It is highly recommended to visitors to pack a sweater, good walking shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, a compact umbrella and/or a light rain coat
